ABOUT ME
Let's get to know each other!
Hello! My name is Katarzyna Holojda-Mikulska. I have a PhD in linguistics, I graduated Polish philology (with a specialization in teaching Polish as a foreign language), journalism and social communication, postgraduate studies in the field of pedagogical preparation and clinical speech therapy.
I have been teaching Polish to foreigners since 2012 and I love my profession. I have worked in many places in Poland and abroad, mainly at universities: the Wrocław Business University of Applied Sciences, the University of Wrocław, the Wrocław University of Technology, the Academy of Music in Wrocław, the Latvian Academy of Culture in Riga, the University of Rijeka and International Primary School in Wrocław and several language schools. I teach children and adults – people who came to Poland and want to finish school, study, work or pass a certificate exam here.
For several years I have been associated with the state system of certification of Polish as a foreign language. I have the ministerial powers to act as the chairperson of the examination committee conducting the state certification exam in Polish as a foreign language. I have a TELC B1-B2 Język Polski examiner’s license. I co-create the examination center at the Wrocław Business University of Applied Sciences. I know everything about certification exams!
I love explaining grammar issues. I don’t like boredom, so I often prepare original materials for my classes. I have taught Polish to over 1,500 people from all over the world! I invite you to the lessons!
